Why do you support the MCO? I support this orchestra because they reach beyond “just” music with their approach to young people and their commitment to promoting classical music.

When and where did you first experience the MCO in concert? My first encounter with MCO was in 2009, in Lucerne.

What makes a “perfect” concert? A perfect concert means the magic confluence of programme, artists and audience.

What is your most memorable moment with the orchestra? My most memorable moment with the MCO is hard to choose – there have been so many. But among my favourite impressions is the highly artistic, yet subtle Mozart Piano Concert with Martha Argerich under the baton of Claudio Abbado, which I experienced in Ferrara a few years ago.

What do you like most about the MCO? It is the free, flexible sound, and the felt joy of playing together that makes the magic of the MCO.
